How kundalini yoga and meditation is helpful
The name kundalini is derived from the word Kundal in Sanskrit, meaning "coiled up" Kundalini is an aspect of shakti, the divine feminine force and the indivisible lover of Shiva in Tantra Yoga. Kundalini is commonly characterized as our being's vital capacity, which opens us to a celestial, non-personal energy dimension upon awakening. Nirvana Yoga are providing Kundalini yoga and meditation in Rishikesh from the transformation that it causes, divine realization emerges.
In the traditional texts of yoga, there are several references
to the strength, beauty, and significance of kundalini. Kundalini is compared
to a snake lying coiled in a Muladhara chakra in the Gheranda Samhita
"Kundalini is in the Muladhara, having the form of a serpent." There
the Jivatman is like the flame of a candle. Contemplate as the Luminous Brahman
upon this flame.
1- Shakti is power- some yogis say that kundalini along Sushumna
Nadi is a flow of prana. They believe that it is part of the energy flow within
the Pranic body's network and that there is no anatomical counterpart. Others
try to relate their perceptions of kundalini to the flow of messages in the
physical body along the nerve fibers. Many Yogis agree that the experience of
kundalini, in relation to the spinal cord, is a unique
spiritual-psycho-physiological event that focuses on Sushumna Nadi.
2-Raising the level of consciousness- Yogis after gratification
or paranormal powers can only lift the kundalini as high as bhrumadhya (the
space between the eyebrows). Yogis who seek salvation, however, will lift
kundalini to the brahmarandhra (fontanel) level, where it merges with the
Supreme Consciousness.
The main goal of the practice of Kundalini is not to awaken and
get a person more power, but to increase their level of consciousness so that
the normal state of consciousness is not marked by individual desires but
becomes universal and all-embracing.
